Classes
At The Fifth Dimension you are never far from your next class. We have classes to suit all tastes and exercise levels at times to suit you, instructed by a qualified Studio Instructors. What's more our studio classes are open to non-members so why not bring a friend. Please remember to book in advance though as these classes are popular. Our diverse timetable includes all classes listed below. All of these will be held in the air conditioned studio fully sprung dance floor.
Aerobics: This class involves Cardiovascular Interval Training, is great for increasing all over endurance and body strength. If you are looking for a class that is high in motivation and burns calories quick smart, this is the class for you!
Body Balance: This is a dynamic programme that leaves you relaxed and renewed. Combining Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates, this carefully structured programme creates a total holistic workout.
Body Combat: The empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Even though it sounds tough, you can work to your own fitness level.
Body Pump: The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls.
Body Step: An energizing step workout that makes you feel liberated and alive. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step. You get huge motivation from sing-a-long music – have fun while blasting body fat!
Boot Camp: Grit
your teeth in this Boot Camp style class. Workout your whole
body and sweat like a pro!
Capoeira: A
Brazillian based dance Martial Arts – for all abilities, come
and join the fun!
Circuits: Use all aspects of Fitness including Cardiovascular, Muscular and Flexibility in this wonderful class. Suitable for all levels of Fitness
Fighting Fit:
A high intensity class which involves punches, kicks, elbows
and knees. Fighting Fit is a partner based pad-work class.
No previous experience required. This class will improve your
cardio, strength, flexibility, endurance and muscle tone.
LBT (Legs, Bum and Tums): Legs, Bums and Tums is a great class for toning and tightening the whole lower body area Pilates: A great
core workout for all abilities. Sculpt your body and strengthen
your core like no other class can!
Running Club:
Get outside and get your sweat on with this “all ability”
Running Club!
Spin Cycle: Join
in the thrills, the hills and the sprints in this high energy
cycling class!
Street Monkeyz: A great Dance class aimed at the 6 – 11 year old age group.
Swinging Sixties:
This class is specifically for the 60+. You never quite
know what you’ll be getting – but you should know this, it
will be fun, good for you, work your heart, lungs, muscles
as well as your mobility and posture. After class, join everyone
for a tea or coffee in the café!
Tai Chi: Build
your strength the relaxing way!
Warriors Eskrima: A practical and effective self protection class run externally by Dion Trigg
Work and Sweat: This is an old school cardio sweat class. Come prepared to work and sweat!
X-Fit: This class is certainly not for beginners or the feint of heart. X-Fit is a repetition based class designed to work you to fatigue! Are you up to the challenge?
Zumba: Party yourself into shape. The Latin-inspired, easy to follow, calorie-burning, dance fitness- party! Feel the music and let loose!
